More than 260 authentic Italian producers of food and wine will showcase their best Made-in-Italy products at the Bellavita Expo London 2016, which will be set in the wonderful scenario of the Business Design Centre for three days, from the 17th to the 19th of July.
At Bellavita Expo London, the largest Made-in-Italy food and beverage trade show in the UK, all the Italian regions will be represented, allowing the visitors to make a kind of journey
through Italy, a trip with taste and good quality food and wine.
Bellavita Expo is the only B2B event aimed to increase the interaction of Italian producers and top buyers in every sector and it is targeted to become the global benchmark of Italian
food and beverage, looking for the highest quality and authenticity.
“This year Bellavita – says Aldo Mazzocco, founder and Ceo of the company – will be showcasing Italian food in four different cities worldwide: London, Amsterdam, Chicago and Warsaw. The Chicago show in May was a great success, featuring many big
names such as Masterchef’s Graham Elliot. Next up, London!”
Mazzocco is proud to point out that at the Bellavita Expo London 2016 “visitors will find more than 260 authentic Italian producers showcasing their best made-in-Italy products”.
“Top quality chefs such as Aldo Zilli, Francesco Mazzei, Theo Randal , Gennaro Contaldo, and other big names are coming soon”, according to the MORE THAN 260 ITALIAN PRODUCERS EXPECTED AT BELLAVITA EXPO LONDON
The event in July in the Business Design Centre
Bellavita Ceo who expects for Expo 2016 more than the 7300 visitors of last year “after the strong media coverage and interest we have gathered in 2015”.
Asked about the selection of the Italian food and wine producers, Mazzocco is keen to underline that Bellavita looks for the highest quality and authenticity:
“Some are small, top-range artisans showcasing for the first time
abroad. Their aim is to break into the market with their high-range products. Others are big companies who want to highlight their presence at our big event”.
Bellavita has also an interactive and innovative approach to the event with Bellavita Awards, “the first international awards programme entirely dedicated to recognising authentic Italian
food and beverage”.
“Up to 300 high-profile food and wine experts – Mazzocco explains – will judge products during the show. The products which achieve the highest overall score will then receive
one, two or three Bellavita stars. The highest ranking product in each of the two categories will be awarded with the Bellavita Platinum Award and get 5000€ worth of their products bought
for the digital Bellavita Shop at www.bellavitashop.co.uk ”.
During the London Expo there will be also the Best Sommelier competition – sponsored by Villa Sandi, the largest Italian Prosecco wine maker – which will have a super-special-VIP guest as Nigel Barden, BBC Radio Presenter and food expert. And it will be possible to discover the Bellavita e-shop: a special
area will be dedicated to the new e-shop www.bellavitashop.co.uk – in which visitors will be allowed to taste products and get special discounts.
“We – sums up Mazzocco – are a unique project, the first real tradeshow travelling the world to bring the best of the Italian culture. Same format in multiple location. Not only do we bring the best products in food and beverage but the real Italian atmosphere.
We have an online magazine working 365 days a year to talk
about the trends and the latest news.
We create unique videos and recipes and share them onto our social media and YouTube channels to promote the
real Italian tradition. We are so much more than just a trade show.
We love interaction. And we are supported by
ICE-ITA to promote Italian culture all around the world since the day one and they are our strongest partner”.
Talking a bit about his background, the Bellavita Ceo introduces himself as a food journalist “truly passionate about wine” who has been working in the event industry for over 15 years. “I am particularly fascinated by the stories behind the producers and I want to promote the Italian Culinary Culture
worldwide. In 2012, combining my skills and expertise with the passion for food & wine, I have founded Bellavita, the first international Trade Show promoting Italian producers abroad.
Today over 600 italian producers exhibit at Bellavita worldwide and consider us their trusted partner to enter a market and export. We believe in three core values : Commitment – Passion – Integrity”.
