Lonely Planet consiglia ai turisti in arrivo nel capoluogo ligure tre” highlights”:
– Wander through the alleyways known locally as caruggi to capture the soul of the city and discover the sumptuous Palazzi dei Rolli.
– Indulge in endless versions of pesto (ideally on trofie pasta or focaccia) at the Mercato Orientale – and everywhere else.
– Walk the coastline to tiny Boccadasse and experience Cinque Terre vibes without leaving the city.

Tra le “30 incredible destinations for 2025” (si spazia dal Cameroun all’Armenia, da Fiji al Kazakstan) Lonely Planet inserisce anche uno spicchio di UK: East Anglia, che “offers a taste of traditional England without the typical touristy attractions. Comprising Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire” e ricca di “charming villages with 16th-century half-timbered houses, artistic wool towns and a coastline adorned with beaches and bird reserves where the sounds of bitterns can be heard in spring”.
