On Tuesday 19th June, Zonin UK hosted in London an event to ‘Uncork the Summer’ and celebrate the wines of the Zonin family’s unique estates. In the garden of the beautiful Stationers’ Hall, restaurateurs, sommeliers and other food and wine professionals were transported to Veneto, Toscana, Puglia, Lombardia, Sicilia, Friuli, Virginia USA and Dos Almas Chile.

The guests could leisurely stroll, glass in hand, between stands dedicated to each estate. Each stand was styled to highlight not only the wines, but the features of the estate that give the wines their distinctive characteristics.

From the heat and breeze in Puglia to the mineral soil of Maremma in Toscana, the stands replicated different themes with detailed displays and local cuisines typical of the regions. Additionally the winemakers were on hand to offer their expertise and answer any questions on the night.

The evening was topped off by a fantastic masterclass on the Chilean wines of Dos Almas led by chief winemaker Stefano Ferrante and director of the estate Eduardo Caballero. Zonin UK is thrilled with the success of the evening and look forward to hosting similar events next year.
